Debut shows are usually a mess. That's low hanging fruit for a critic and I
thought Stuever handled it well - he called it an experiment and a work in
progress.

The success or failure of a show like this is the connection the home
audience feels with the host. A lot of TV sets will have the Today Show on
at 9, having watched the previous hour. How many are still tuned in at 9:15
will be what's important.
