My guess is that the writers banked too heavily on a Clinton victory, and a lot of material had to be rewritten/scrapped once things took a turn.
Wasn't Jon Stewart promoted for the Showtime special? I know he made an appearance on Monday night, but for some reason I thought he was also scheduled for the live show on Tuesday...
