The NFL is pretty strict about the away market seeing the home teams game in full- years ago, NBC gave up a game between San Diego and Kansas City to CBS- so it could show its network news followed by a World Series game, where as CBS could show it the Chargers-Chiefs game(and it resulted in a NFC game going to NBC-a first i believe, before the "cross-flex" rule was enforced. No network ever did that before the current policy came in a few years ago and it was to make sure each network would be able to get the best game, even if it's from the opposite networks conference).
