Yeah, with how close SCG stands to the camera for the monologue, the front rows 
are actually not the best place to see him during that segment.  Or during the 
open, especially if puppets are involved.

One thing that did astonish me was how close those cameras are to the
talent during the show. And I do not know why they have a gib camera
when there is no room to maneuver it around the studio. A fixed camera
at a raised elevation would get the job done. Snyder's stage/seating
area was probably 12 by 12 with no audience; that they were able to
accommodate audiences and bands for both Craig hosts is impressive.
