I see. Yet, maybe it is only me but when I think of converting one
object into another it means that the former disappears. That's why we
"create" an invoice, not "convert" the sale into an invoice.

On the other hand, we have a button named  "Convert to Opportunity"
which converts Lead into an Opportunity because the same object is
changed from one state to another.
