You. Are. Missing. The. Point.
If you deperately want to stay with kdepim and aborted kdepim from KDE 4.2
you'll at some point have to fork trojitá since Jan is hardly gonna wait for
you forever.
What's eg. preventing you from using the abook plugin?
I want to have one addressbook where are my contacts (names, email
addresses, phone numbers and ideally also jabber IDS).
Everything supported but jabber IDs, but can be added - and abook stores data
locally in ~/.abook/ (by default) - abook is the BSD addressbook and not
related to akonadi at all.
Cheers,
Thomas
