If we keep making a new format for Fwd prefix count out of the scope of this patch, then which out of the two original alternatives can we move forward with, atleast for now? 1. Just append a "Fwd: " to the subject line when a forwarded message is to be sent by trojitá. Or, 2. Mangle the subject line to replace multiple occurences of the "Fw(d): " prefix with a single "Fwd: ", just like it is done for replying, and like it is done by some email service providers I checked (Gmail, Yahoo).
3. Keep multiple "Fwd:" internally and compress them only for the GUI representation. You'll btw. get any *wrong* and *incorrect* information depending on whether the other MUAs compress Fwd: or not, ie. piping "Fwd: Fwd: Fwd: " through gmail once will apparently get you the first "Fwd: " and you'll on the next forward be on "Fwd: Fwd: " Cheers, Thomas
