Title:
[HDA-Intel - HDA Intel, playback] fails after a while

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Well, thing is Ive been with this problem since 8.04, lets explain
  myself

As you see in the bug attached information, I have an ASUS
motherboard, with ASUS GTX260 hdmi video/audio outpout.

In order to make audio work at system start I have to use the
pulseaudio GUI utility (pavucontrol) and in Outpout, check and uncheck
mute. Then I have sound working perfectly.

Running 10.04 was the most stable scenario, I still have it installed
on another partition and works (the same way with pavucontrol trick)
  without any issues.

Now on 11.10, usually a while after system start and the trick is done
sound is gone. I see at pavucontrol the sound level bars working with
apps but no matter what I do (alsamixer, pavucontrol, gnome
alsamixer...) sound wont get back unless I reboot and redo the trick.

I think that maybe flash or video playback could be on the problem,
but I cant be sure, I havent find yet a way to make the problem
  happens.

Thanks in advance for any help
