I am having a lot of issues with Virtual box, in terms of getting it to see the network properly, for some reason it has given me a totally different IP address to the rest of my computer network, I can't share files with host system, Phillw has advised me to use virtmanager instead as it seems virtualbox and oracle are not doing too well at present. So I in the light of this I would propose the following The manual / project should advocate, where possible the use of virt manager above virtual box and in fact remove the info for virtual box as unless I can take a screen shot and easily share this with my host system then I am going to struggle further to develop the manual. Doing this should be easy enough, as virt manger is installed along with qemu or is of last night. However this leaves the issue of how does one test, when the host OS is Windows or mac, I can't help here at all. if anyone can suggest something here, that would be great. Even if it is plain text and include screen shots (reference this in the text file) it should be possible to drop in to both the online / offline manuals.
