Maybe we should concentrate on non-GTK apps. GTK is nearly dead for non-Gnome-Shell related stuff. Even Audacious is now switching to Qt. GTK breaks nearly everything every few months including themes, Gnome Shell addons and behaviour like Client side decorations.
