Broken Link

           Summary: Broken Link
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: 5.0.18
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://localhost:8080/tomcat-docs/appdev/sample/web/
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Webapps:Documentation
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

On <http://localhost:8080/tomcat-docs/appdev/sample/web/> there are links to a
sample "Hello, World" application, as JSP and Servlet.

The JSP URL <http://localhost:8080/tomcat-docs/appdev/sample/web/hello.jsp>
works fine.

Tomcat responds to the Servlet URL
<http://localhost:8080/tomcat-docs/appdev/sample/web/hello> with an HTTP 404
error: "The requested resource (/tomcat-docs/appdev/sample/web/hello) is not
available.".

In <%CATALINA_HOME%\webapps\tomcat-docs\appdev\sample\web\> there is
<index.html>, <hello.jsp>, <images>, and <WEB-INF>. The last two are
directories. In <images> there is <tomcat.gif> and in <WEB-INF> there is <web.xml>.
