http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17351 include directive bug with "dangling else" [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REOPENED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-25 19:42 ------- A line feed in the JSP page got translated into a out.print("\n"); which is then consumed by "else". This part of the spec is defined by the transformation rule: the rules for traslation of a JSP page into Java source is defined in the spec, the rest is determined by Java language rules. The spec does not prevent you from having a dangling else, but it is not recommanded, because the result is usually not what a casual user expects. Like I said, you'll have to know what you are doing. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
