http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15845 4.1.19 Memory Leak when creating compilier for JSP pages ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-22 13:27 ------- So what your saying Remy is that it is ok for jsp compiles to continualy build up memory without releasing it and this is expected behavior in tomcat. If you run jprobe on it while it compiles jsp pages it is easy to see the memory build up. Belive it or not there are time where precompile is not an option (ie a hosting enviroment where people u/l there jsps all the time) to say restart the server every once in awhile is just plain stupid. I am sorry you don't seem to see the problem with this, but as you wish I will leave the bug closed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
