No Logger causes startup to fail

It may be a issue only on Unix boxes.  The system seems to "start to print out
an exception" logging something like "exception in Main " and it stops
abruptly.

Strangely, I found adding a Logger of type "SystemOutLogger" to the
Host section (which would logicly be an effective no-op as the default
should already be an instance of the system out logger) works just dandy.

If you choose to close this again, I wont reopen it.
