I've taken over the release annoucements for Tomcat@Freshmeat (nobody seemed to be doing it, so ...). I've renamed (pending approval) the project to "Apache Tomcat", which is the 'legal' name of the project, and I also plan to do the 3.x release announcements as part of the same project.
