Tomcat 4.0 follows the same philosophy (ignore the user's original
CLASSPATH), for the same reasons.  The CLASSPATH variable is the second
largest source of user questions and problems on the TOMCAT-USER list
(after configuring web connectors), and this philosophy avoids nearly all
of those issues.
