People,

I don't know why my email program added asterisks (*) in the command line but it should read like this:

./ezmlm-sub /home/vpop/domains/put.your.domain.name.here/put.your.email.list.name.here <list.txt

Sorry for the confusion.

All,

You would have thought that this would have been a common situation where one
would want to pipe a list of e-mail addys into a EZMLM managed list. It must
not be because I couldn't find the solution in a a FAQ anywhere no matter how
I phrased the query in Google. With the clues from Bill and Rick that were posted
earlier I have been able to solve my dilemma with the following:

For a Fedora Core 3 System with a full "Shupp-Toasted" configuration do the following:

1. Create & Configure your email list with Qmailadmin as per usual.

2. Goto /usr/local/bin/ezmlm

3. Create your list of e-mail addys with each address on its own line like:

      [EMAIL PROTECTED]
      [EMAIL PROTECTED]
      [EMAIL PROTECTED]

4. Save it as list.txt (or whatever)

5. From the command line:
./ezmlm-sub /home/vpop/domains*/put.your.domain.name.here*/*put.your.email.list.name.here* <list.txt

6. Check Qmailadmin and show users and you should see your list of names neatly listed.

I just added a list of 85 users so I hope this saves someone else a few hours of frustration.

Thanks again to Bill & Rick for the pointers.

Allen T.
