hello, been test running a toaster for a coupla months now everythings great, as you all doubtless already know. i have a persistent zombie issue though. it seems that i have one per running qmail process (4). Persistent across reboots. this is a lightly loaded server and hasn't been tested hard yet.
also, this is a vanilla install... patched for: scanner (not used yet), ezmlm-idx (used), latest qmail toaster patches, including maildir++ quota and all the associated packages, qmailadmin (one version out of date). my question is: not having changed anything after the install and no zombies at that time, is this a known issue? it's running on an older dual pent 266. Hardware? qmail works great and i can ignore 'em. however i am curious as to causes, and i have no preconceived notions, any thoughts are welcome. thanks kelley graham
