There is no way tmux will support -h or --help unless you can change the consensus on OpenBSD, or at least other common OpenBSD ports to Linux like OpenSSH.
However we already have "ambiguous command" matching: $ tmux lis ambiguous command: lis, could be: list-buffers, list-clients, list-commands, list-keys, list-panes, list-sessions, list-windows So the most persuasive thing to implement would be to special-case "tmux help" to list all commands, or even to run "man tmux" if you think that is better. Although I think in the latter case you will need to explain why "tmux help" is easier than "man tmux" :-).
