Hello, I'm fairly new to the world of TinyOS and I'm wondering if it's possible for a mote (an IRIS mote, in this case) to run code which will determine the types of sensors it has available for sampling. Obviously you would normally be aware of your mote's capabilities, but in the scenario I'm considering you are not, but you possess the ability to run arbitrary code on the mote and receive messages from it.
I'm thinking this isn't possible to do with a lot of certainty, but would love to hear otherwise. Perhaps if you knew the pinouts of the various sensorboards there would be some way to determine which, if any, is connected to the mote in question? Thank you.
