Nick Violi:

Please don't share emails of people who haven't allowed it,
nor use the Slip list to suggest "hassling" anyone through
repeated bombardment with tape grovels. Grovels are what
they are--if you don't have the show, don't hassle those
who do. Enough people share openly and don't need the extra
work it takes to shed off all the beggars. Also, sharing
emails without explicit permission is illegal and immoral.

Creekside is also "tight" in terms of taping, and those
tapers who do get to keep their equipment dry and functional
are very select about who they share shows with. I've seen
lots of begging for this show, and it's just not widely in
circulation. Some shows are like that, and all the begging
in the world won't make them come around more widely.

The Slip LISTSERV is for the benefit of everyone, and individual
opinions are always welcome, but please think of the group when
posting. If you're offering something to the group, then go ahead
and use this medium for discussion. If you're only seeking to gain
personal advantage, then please visit elsewhere.

Let's focus our attention on having fun over the holidays and
enjoying each others' company at the upcoming Slip shows. And
don't ever divulge anyone else's personal information (even if
it is on a public forum) without their explicit permission. I
hope I have made myself clear and I apologize if my words seem
strong or acerbic. My intent is to reduce grovelling. Just
wait for the B&P offers and let your collection grow naturally. :-)

-The road is paved with misplaced intentions.
