I created a F44 guest on my 16GB host using
Fedora-Workstation-Live-44-20260219.n.0.x86_64.iso, using all the default
settings (4096 MB RAM, 2 CPUs, 20GB storage) with the same result. It hangs on
Finalization, Configuring installed system although the progress circle
continues to spin. I was able to get to a console with Ctrl-Alt-F3 and look at
the /tmp/*.log files (not sure what you mean by "journal", are you talking
about journalctl?) and scp a copy of them to my host. Then I attempted to
access the storage editor menu and it crashed exactly as before, with the
"Cannot parse given Error object" error. When I entered my Bugzilla API key to
report it automatically, it now just says "Validating..." and that will never
return, just as before. Looking again at the files in /tmp/*.log, none of them
have changed (they all have timestamps of at least an hour ago). In order to
report this manually, exactly which files should I upload in order to emulate
an automatic bug report? I'll pause the VM to preserve it as is until I can
report properly.
