[techtalk] Linux file server for Mac via TCP/IP?

Anyone heard of a package for Linux that provides file services for macs via
TCP/IP instead of Appletalk? I have heard rumours of such a thing existing,
but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have seen both CAP and netatalk, but
both of those apparently use Appletalk.
