Oh, if you want to make devices in /dev [1], make sure that's the
directory you're in when you run MAKEDEV. By default, it creates them
in the current directory (at least debian's does).
[1] There's nothing wrong with having devices somewhere other than /dev,
though it does get confusing. Especially when certain programs have
certain devices hardcoded.
