Now I'm really jealous, although I suppose I must be better for having suffered though 
various Redmond OSs, in a Neitsche'en kind of way.

surely there's this bit about ". . . all goods should be of merchantable quality and 
fit for the purpose for which they are . . ." in the Sale of Goods act? How does M$ 
defend themselves about that in the UK? And I'm fairly sure most other EU countries 
have similar legislation.
