there is a line near the end of EXAMPLES:

        The RAID volume is now ready to be used as a normal disk device.

for me, the instructions you've added come under the umbrella of
using the raid partition as a normal disk partition. so i'd argue
that it's outside the remit of this page.

maybe other developers think otherwise though.
