Right... I'll do a last attempt to make sure I didn' missed something. Anyway, could you please confirm that there are changes on dmesg? I am expecting that the two lines on dmesg that relate to the ath attachment should have changed to match your card (you had previously "rf 0.0", it should now have something different there...).
