If what you want to serve is some standard service - static http and imaps - 
then you're probably better off *not* getting a VPS, but instead getting a 
service. For example, you can use weebly, wix, or squarespace to host your 
website for free, and you can use various email providers (including gmail, and 
I'm guessing amazon) to host your imap email for free, or nominal charge.
