Here are our school we use the Teradek Vidiu for streaming:

  http://teradek.com/pages/vidiu

It takes HDMI in and streams to a few different services without the need for a
computer. We stream to uStream (which was the original service they
supported), but they’ve added others. It has a battery, so it’s theoretically
possible to stream live with just this device, a camera, and an internet
connection.

It accepts a hardline ethernet, wi-fi, or a USB for a cellular modem. We’ve
not used the cellular option so I don’t know how that performs. However, the
other ones work great and we’ve streamed several multi-hour events without any
trouble.
