Mario, thanks for the intro. Tim, nice to meet you, too. Like you, I'm also under the gun -- WAY under -- to get ready for LISA, so yes, we can chat there.
To save a little time, though: We already have Kubernetes up and running, and we're deploying containers to it (albeit in a very crude way). We even have a very rough draft of how we'd build out the missing parts of the system if we used Kubernetes as the base. What we DON'T have, and very much want, is to hear other peoples' experiences doing those sorts of things. Simple stuff like etcd v. Consul to complicated things like how to auto-scale pods -- we understand all that stuff, we can imagine designs using that stuff, but we can't find anyone talking about how they actually implemented any of that stuff. So, if you have stories to tell, or know people who do, that's what I really want to hear. I'll be at LISA starting Sunday; I'm pretty easy to find: look for the tall guy with the pony tail wearing shorts and a Hawai'ian-style shirt (likely a pretty loud one at that). Also, a lot of people know me so just ask anyone that looks like they've been there before. Good luck with your LISA prep.
