You shouldn't expect any test to be reliable or repeatable or indicative of anything. Because junk mail filtering is all about probability assignment, based on many complex and variable factors, using all the information available at the recipient system - including the IP address that sent the message, DNS associated to that IP address, what protocols were used, what version of mailer the sender is using, not to mention the contents of your message. You might have passed the spam filter when you emailed yourself, just because you've been known to email yourself before - or because it forwards back to yourself. These are known factors at the recipient machine, which may or may not affect the spam score it assigns.
