Hi. Thanks for your feedback. We have done some limited testing on an old Mac Mini. The limitation we're up against is memory (Mac Mini = 16GB max, Pro = 64GB max). May be that's the compromise we have to make, but we normally max out on memory before CPU, and VMware licensing for extra CPUs just to get more memory, is a little painful. We'll take a look at the expansion options you and Edmund have mentioned. Thanks!
