After suffering through a three day rebuild of my laptop I decided to try
and find a better backup solution. I have a Synology NAS in my office.
Currently it is on the same switch as my laptop but I am going to upgrade
the switch in the next few months. I am using the Synology Backup Software
that came with the unit but that does not have the capability of doing any
differentials. The drive on my laptop is a 750gb but I am no where near
capacity (currently at 225gb). A lot of this stuff is stagnent but I would
like to have something that I could run each day that could do
differentials.

The software I use on my $NIX boxes doesn't have a Windows port as that is
a very nice package. Everything I have seen is costly so I am looking for a
package that will do differentials as well as Masters and is not a Royal
PITA to setup or install.

BackupPC comes to mind but the last time I used that it was in its early
stages and was not easy to configure but that was on the $NIX side not
windows.

TIA
