With a quick Google, there seem to be several XML Editors available for various platforms. Some validate the schema as editing is occuring.
I don't find editing them with vi or notepad to bad, but if doing a significant amount editing, it can be a pain. So I see the desire to have something as simple as flat flies to edit. XML isn't perfect, but it could be worse. As a programmer, many languages have free XML parsers available so it is easier for programmers than saying they are going to read a config or ini file. _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list Tech@lists.lopsa.org https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
