Other trick I've used is to click on the missing window in the task bar to focus it, then right click the task bar and pick "Move". Then you should be able to hold down the appropriate cursor key to move it back onto the visible desktop. But fundamentally, is this an issue of RDPing from a system with one monitor to a system with two? Because newer versions of Remote Desktop (and I'd hope the Citrix Receiver) should be able to support multi-monitor setups.
