+1 to this. I've hit some nasty bugs with Dovecot in the past that I stay away from it. Cyrus is incredibly easy, stable and scales well to large mailboxes. There are cluster solutions you might want to look at for HA. If you are looking for something more along the lines of an Exchange replacement (calendar, contacts, kitchen sink), you might check out Zimbra.
