Rotate the dials randomly, up and down the lock. Keep tension on the 
lock at all times. As you rotate the dials, you will feel a 
jam/click/jerk when one of the dials hits the correct number. Repeat for 
all the dials.

The key is the tension. If the tension is not consistent, no click or 
even a click on the wrong number.
