Seems like the right thing to do is -surveyfoot british-ft +surveyfoot 1200|3937 meter -geodeticfoot british-ft +geodeticfoot surveyfoot and kill off "british", unless anyone can think of a reason to keep this name for almost-but-not-quite-1.
