Well, that's obvious: you don't have to spend the time to reinvent it
yourself.
Plus - e.g. in my case - if you are a beginner as far as Tapestry etc is
concerned and you don't know if you are doing it the right way or
completely messing it up, you know that somebody with a little more
experience has done it and other people seem to use it successfully.

However, what the benefits compared to "self made" normal hibernate
integration ?
