Hi Andreas, Actually, I just checked on the HiveMind Utilities web page and most information is already there (I just updated it a little bit in my reply and put a bit more details). As a matter of fact, the home page describes each available module (hivetranse, hiveutils, hivelock...) in more detail to give an overview of what you could use it for. I will add more details to this page though, and I will put links to the quick start or the javadoc/hivedoc to find more details on some specific points.
What about a hivetranse wiki? Actually, I must admit I didn't even think about it! The fact is I am not acquainted with the setup of a wiki site (I don't even know where I can download wiki). I will try to take a look at that this week-end. Ah, one interesting point I forgot about HiveLock, it allows you to create "Stateful Session Beans" (if I dare use the EJB vocabulary), ie, HiveMind-managed services that have one instance for each connected user. This is accessible through a new HiveMind Service Model (named "user") that you use instead of the other standard ones (singleton, primitive, threaded, and pooled). Very straightforward to apply. What about putting all of the information on the hivetranse homepage or in a hivetranse wiki? I'm quite sure many other people will be highly interested in it... Next week I will take a closer look at HiveUtils. ;) Sincerly, Andreas On 13.
