Hi Andreas, Sorry for not providing (yet) any useful doc for HiveLock on the hivetranse web site.
However, you may consider taking a look at: - the "lock.example" module that comes with the HiveMind Utilities source: it demonstrates the use of HiveLock sided with SecurityFilter (for authentication). Although not Tapestry-oriented, I believe it should not be a problem (I could not check however, I am not a Tapestry user) to migrate it to a Tapestry app. - the "caucho.example" is another example (its usage of HiveLock is quitre similar to the example above) - the HiveBoard application (http://hiveboard.sourceforge.net) that is using HiveLock in a quite usual way (ie, the way it was intended to be used). For HiveUtils, it depends on what you are interested in, HiveUtils provides a lot of different utilities (that could not belong to any other modules of the HiveMind Utilities) and are not meant to be used at 100% in one project. Could you give more details of what is of interest to you in HiveUtils, or of what kind of utility you are looking for? I would like to know what they can be used for and how - I'm mainly interested in the security stuff... I've searched the web but also on the Hivetranse homepage there doesn't seem to exist any documentation (the javadoc is also not very helpful). If someone knows or can tell from his/her own experience I would very much like to hear of you ;) Thanks!
