Hi,
I do not have the ability to observe the Tapestry lists at this
moment, because of other priority things that I need to concentrate on,
but here is my opinion on this:
Given that a lot of people do not have the flexibility to move to 1.5,
having a 1.5-only Tapestry would be a major, major showstopper. On the
other hand, Retroweaver allows most of the 1.5 features to be used on
1.4, although not all (correct me if I am wrong). My opinion is
therefore the following:
+1 for a Retroweaver-compatible 1.5 Tapestry and a 1.4 distribution of
the framework that can be downloaded from the site (translated using
Retroweaver).
-1 to a 1.5-only Tapestry that is not Retroweaver compatible.
Do not get me wrong -- I like 1.5 as an evolution and I even think it
goes not nearly far enough. (not to mention that I feel the direction is
slightly misjudged, but that's another topic)

For my organization, full JDK 1.5 for all APIs and systems +1.
Now, for the people who need to use JDK 1.4, does anyone knows if this
works?
