Hi /Dennis
I just went through the same problem a few weeks ago.
I solved the problem by going to the Optus store.
The manager of the store simply conected my n86 and the IPhone5 to a special
computer that they have setup and transfered approx 1500 contacts for me.
It took her around 20-25 mins to do the transfer.
HTH
cheers
Mario

You can use PC Suite to Sinc them to your PC. Then you can clean up what
you
need and then use the Apple software to get them over to the IPhone.
You could also mark them all on the N86, Copy them to your Memory card,
Then
copy them to your PC, issue a command using the run option on the PC to
combine all the VCF files into one big VCF file. Then Email that to your
IPhone. Then Open the Email and attachment and save it.
Keep in mind, Talks will read the N86 stuff and you may or may not have
issues trying to copy the contacts to the memory card on the N86.
Good luck. It may take some work to get what you want. To bad the other
devices on the market don't support VCF files as SMS messages and or
bluetooth transfers of the VCF files. If you whir going to Android it
would
be easier. At least less painful. I think. Being you could just move the
memory card to the new phone and use some programs on the Google play
store
to then build your contact database. But this isn't the place to get into
all of that. And I'm no expert by any means.
Again good luck moving from Talks and Nokia to some other platform.
