First of all I would have phoned you only I am in Ireland from 27 November to 5 December. On my return to London can do if you require it. I have Log in my Menu list, it comes after Search and before User Services. Try the short-cut key I told you about and see if that brings it up. Just press on the smooth area between the screen and keys but in the corner to the left and above the Q key. This is a 3 position key. -----Original Message----- From: "Hicks Steven (CORNWALL IT SERVICES)" Sent: 02/12/2013, 7:41 AM To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Nokia E6 Help Continued
Thanks so much for all your help, you are fantastic. I am still a bit confused as when I go in to menu, there is no logs option that I can find anywhere. Do you think it may have been removed from the menu in some way? -----Original Message----- From: talks-boun...@talksusers.com [mailto:talks-boun...@talksusers.com] On Behalf Of Eleanor Burke Sent: 01 December 2013 10:01 To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Nokia E6 Help Continued Warning: This message contains unverified links which may not be safe. You should only click links if you are sure they are from a trusted source. The period key is the second one in from the left on the second row up from the bottom. I am talking as the phone is directly in front of you and furthest to the right of the phone. The first key on that second row is the enter or return key. Then as I say the full stop is to the right of that and to the right again is the comma. To find your missed calls you go to menu and logs. I have mine on the smooth key above the qwerty line and to the left of the arrow keys but I think I recall making that a hot key. As for the internet hard to say as I am writing on the phone now but I think it is when you get to the edit box press the select key which is in the middle of the arrow keys and then start writing. I will check this now so ask again if I did not tell you correctly. -----Original Message----- From: "Hicks Steven (CORNWALL IT SERVICES)" Sent: 01/12/2013, 7:39 AM To: Talks Mailing List Subject: [Talks] Nokia E6 Help Continued Hello friends, Firstly let me say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me out up until now with the new phone, I am so grateful and this list is fantastic along with all the people who provide help. Can I just ask a few more queries to help me along the way with this phone please? Firstly, I am unable to find the key with the full stop or period on it. Secondly, there are missed calls showing butg I can't see to go in to find them, I have checked the menu etc and it doesn't seem to show up where I have looked. Thirdly, when I open up the web, I can't see to figure out how to enter a new web address manually. Finally, for now anyway :) I need to transfer the memory card from my old phone, is the memory slot on the top left of the phone? There seems to be a little panel there but I can't figure out how it opens. Thanks again to everyone, I now have a phone that I can call and text on :) ******************************************************************************************************************** This message may contain confidential information.
