If you recall, Nuance has never posted release times. This is also true for
most other platforms including Android, IOS etc... They have all never
posted a date when something is going to be out unless it is within a few
days/weeks. Outside of that, you never seen something months ahead of time
that holds fact frm the companies. You've seen things from the news but not
the companies of said software.
In talking with dealers and the like, they've never given me thoughts that
Talks is dead like some people may think.
In all cases where programming items; It isn't as quick and painless as some
may think. Sometimes to come up with a line of code to work around a issue
or to even find a issue may take some time. As a example only! I do computer
programming and yesterday I was researching a issue to find out why some
software didn't do what it should have. It took me 2.5 hours to test and
walk down through the code to find the issue and fix it. What was the issue!
Some people may think it was have been major. Well it wasn't! It came down
to one character that needed to be changed to then get that part of the code
to work correctly. I needed to change a equal to a greater then sign. That
is a true story and hopefully will give some people a idea of why it may
take some time to add/fix issues in any software package. This could be not
saying it is why there hasn't been any updates of Talks. Yes this would have
normally been around this time frame of a Talks release. So I would guess
that they are having issues that they are trying to work out. I'm only
bassing this on past years and this may hold no reallity to todays events.

if you'll recall when there were issues in the past nuance did come out I
remember a a few times where they asked for help in tracking down a
problem just be patient.
