the galaxy phones definitely do have, and seem to work fine with it, as does the google nexus. some of the HTC phones also have it. if it isn't on them already, I believe it works ok with some of the motorola sets, and some of the sony ones. if nokia does an android phone, it certainly isn't on the lists of usable android phones that I have seen so far. unfortunately, there is currently no speech what so ever for windows phones to the best of my knowledge, but seemingly some magnification features are being introduced some time soon, if they are not already, according to an article I skipped through in the last RNIB vision magazine.

Forgive me for chipping in here but I wonder whichn android phones have speech on them. For example, I'm quite interested in the Samsung Galaxy series or the latest Nokia phones. And, don't the windows phones have their own speech integrated much like say microsoft's text to speech engine. I'm not saying there any good but just wondered. Talks is not being developed to work on any Nokia Lumia handsets as these are Windows Phone 8 etc, and that would require Microsoft to do the legal thing and produce an accessibility API, they are not likely going to do this anytime soon. As for the other low end Nokia's that do not run Windows Phone, I believe these are not running Symbian S60 and as such, will not run Talks either.
