I have a problem with Belle when reading e-mails, Talks will start reading and when it gets to the body of the e-mail, it will revert to saying Browser repeatedly. This does not happen every time but maybe a 3rd of the time. I would really appreciate Talks developers taking note of this bug. Again I repeat a request prior to last release of Talks and which went unheard, I would like to be able to go to Edit when reading a Word document and for this to commence the reading of the document. Instead I have to go to the end of the document and force reading by taking a new paragraph. I then have to arrow to the top of the document to commence reading. This is OK in a short document and very time vpconsuming in a very long document. If I simply ask through the options to go to the top of the document having made my new paragraph at the end of the document in Edit Mode, the document is once again inaccessable with Talks. This issue with word is only with Anna and Belle. Finally and I know this is a no hoper, would love to be able to read pdf accessable files. -----Original message----- From: Brad Keller Sent: 22/06/2012, 5:47 pm To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Some requests for a upcoming talks release
As far as we know the developers are on this list so will see your post. As for the bars versus percentage for the battery, I think... and I could be wrong, that the nokia phones have this built into the os and it is not a feature of talks. The other screen reader reads the battery level in the exact same way. Concerning the web page not loaded, there actually could be a connection and the problem could be with talks not reading the page, the web page being one of those that does not work well with a mobile device, the web page being rather large and taking longer to load. These are just examples. What I am basically trying to say is that just because the web page isn't loading doesn't mean that there isn't an internet connection active/availble. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sascha Panevin" <sascha.panev...@gmx.de> To: <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Friday, June 22, 2012 9:49 AM Subject: [Talks] Some requests for a upcoming talks release > Hi all, > > I again have some requests for a maybe upcoming talks release, because I > just hope > one comes out somewhen. > > Below a list of features and improvements which I and maybe some other > users > want to have in a upcoming release. > > What should be addeed? > 1.
