Hi. Yes, the E7 is difficult to use while standing up. Depends if you're the sort of person who likes to sit down to do their messages and E-mails or, like me, you like doing stuff on the go. I have an E7, but not an E6, as I already have an E5 and E72. Like I said before, just thought the E7 etc were worth mentioning, particularly if someone preferred bigger buttons, in the case of the E7. You can pretty much touch type with that phone. Good for people with larger hands and fingers, I think.

Hi All.

I agree with Eleanor here completely.

I have had both the E6 and E7. I did find the E7 quite difficult to use
particularly when standing up or moving around. This was mainly because
pulling out the Qwerty keypad is quite tricky and then positioning your
hands whilst standing up can be challenging in my view.

I also agree that the positioning of the speaker makes it quite dificult to
hear when in public places.

Now I also use the E6 all the time as my main phone. I find the size and
weight really friendly and the sound quality is also good.
To be honest, I have now got really used to the touch screen and so do
combine this with other totally touch screen phones that we don't mention on
this list.

I agree Fi, however, the E7 is awkward at times and can fall out of the
hand. This can be over come by having it in a suitable case. I understand for those with hearing difficulties the E7 may not be ideal because of where the one and only speaker is placed. I use the E6 all the time but honestly my total preference is for a keypad. The cameras on E6 and E7 are excellent
and for partially sighted I think the E7 is very appealing.

Hi. Would you be prepared to use a touchscreen phone if it also had a
qwerty keyboard? If so, there's the E6 and E7. E7's a bit big, but the
keyboard is truly a joy to use! I think the E6, which is smaller, has
a pretty good keyboard too. Of course, you have to use the touchscreen
to hit keys 1 and 2, but you get a joypad for arrowing around, rather
than having to use the touchscreen.

Just thought these were worth mentioning, in case you can't get an E5,
with qwerty keyboard, or C5, with number pad. No Wifi on C5, which may
be a problem for you.

What phone do you currently have?

Only know C5 which is numeric and E5 which is Qwerty. You could look
at the release notes for last Talks release in February 2012. The
release notes will be in the same folder on Blindsea that has Talks.
There may of course be people who have successfully installed Talks
on a new phone but cannot help on that.
