You must have your history on. Talks will say the link of that page which u opened earlier. Think so in E6, u must press softkey-1 rather then softkey-2 for older phones. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> To: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 10:43 PM Subject: Re: [Talks] E6 Using Internet
Are you saying for example if I wanted to go back 5 steps/pages, then press left arrow 5 times? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matheus Rheine" <an...@bol.com.br> To: <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 12:00 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] E6 Using Internet hi, i don't have this problem on my e5 even with the updated firmware and browser. when i access a website and navigate to different links and want to go back i simple press soft key 2(yes, talks will say to press select, if you press select it will return you to the same page, however if you press left you can view or go to the previous links that you visited. i noticed that depending in your settings in the browser two different things can happen: either when pressing soft key 2 and going left will speak the name of the last link you clicked(allowing you to select it) or it will go directly to the last page. i'm not sure how to change it, but i prefer the first way, try changing the settings like "save most recent addresses" and some others. i prefer the first way(which comes by default) because then you can choose if you want to go back 1 page or 5,or even 10! i hope that these steps will also work with your phones. thanks -----Mensagem original----- De: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorbu...@btinternet.com> Para: "Talks Mailing List" <talks@talksusers.com> Data: Quarta, 28 de Março de 2012 10:27 Assunto: Re: [Talks] E6 Using Internet Now that surprises me in your case Maurice as I certainly have recollections of you saying even before last release of Talks that you could access the Internet without difficulty. If I do a Google search and read the info on 1st link, I then have to do a Google search again to get to the 2nd link and so on as I cannot work my way backwards as per my BBC example earlier. This is the case now on E5 and all phones with updated firmware. -----Original message----- From: Maurice Press Sent: 28/03/2012, 11:18 am To: 'Talks Mailing List' Subject: Re: [Talks] E6 Using Internet Hi Eleanor and All. I have just tried this and find exactly the same response. The only way I could get back to the BBC website was as you say, to start again from Google or at least from my bookmark which i have created that takes me directly to the BBC site. I am wondering if anyone can help. My problem is this, if for example I go on to the main BBC website and arrow down to the link for Radio 4. Once I select this link if I then select a link for a programme, let's call it the Archers. Now I want to find my way back on to the BBC home page where I started, I just can't do this. I have to end up coming right out and going back to Google or my Bookmark of BBC and starting all over again. I have tried to press different keys on the qwerty keypad to see if these would bring me back a page ;at a time but nothing happens for me, I can press the soft key two on the touch screen which brings me back but then Talks says press soft key one to select which I do and then I am back where I started not having moved back. _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ ----- No virus found in this message.
