That's why I think a sim licence is better once you remove your sim card you
also remove your license from the old handset. If for what ever reason you
need to go back to your old handset put the sim back in and the talks on
that phone will again be licensed.
You can not sell the old handset which would include a second hand talks
license. I would bet there are a lot of second hand phones out their with
second hand talks licenses attached .

you are indeed able to leave your old N82 with Talks running on it, provided
you are the user and owner still. If you sell it on, you must remove Talks
and not sell the phone with an implied second hand Talks license attached.
You can transfer your existing Talks license for £50 or equivalent in any of
our supported currencies at www.talknav.com by simply entering the old and
new IMEI numbers.
